Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) launched a three-phase online quiz contest on the life and activities of Bangabandhu as part of the celebration of the centennial birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Professor Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of BUBT inaugurated the competition on Monday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Professor Khan paid glowing tributes to Bangabandhu and termed him as a leading political leader in the South Asian region. He also mentioned that under his great leadership Bangladesh emerged as a sovereign independent state. He stated “We should make his dream of ‘Sonar Bangla’ come true. “

The webinar session was also addressed by Professor Mian Lutfar Rahman, member, BUBT Trust, Professor Dr. Md. Ali Noor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Syed Anwarul Huq, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Humanities, and Convenor, Online Quiz Competition, Professor Dr. Syed Masud Husain, Dean, Faculty of Business & Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Syed Sarfaraj Hamid, Dean, Faculty of Law, and Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Applied Sciences. Dr. Kamruddin Md. Nur, Chairman, CSE and member, Quiz Committee, Mr. Md. Abdullah Al Azad, Assistant Professor of English and member, Quiz Committee, and Mr. Md. Sabbir Ahmed, Assistant Professor of English and member, Quiz Committee made the program a great success through their relentless efforts.

The competition involves the total prize money of taka sixty-five thousand (65,000) in eight categories.
